Whiting Elementary students want to thank the First Congregational United Church of Christ for the Gift of Reading! Each student, Kindergarten through Sixth grade, received a book for the month of December! Additionally, each student will receive a book a month through May from the church! Thank you all who helped make this possible for our students! Happy Reading!
Baskets are $3 and will be delivered on May 1st. Proceeds benefit the Whiting National Honor Society Chapter. Contact any Whiting NHS Member or call Tracy at the school at 712-455-2468!
Every grade has a box in their classroom to collect money for this event. Each week every classroom's box is emptied and totaled until the final day of the campaign. The class with the most money will win a special prize.
