The Whiting Elementary School Library was the recipient of a generous donation from the John and Evelyn Mercer family.  The money the family members collected at their Thanksgiving dinner was donated to the library and was used to purchase 45 books for our students to read and enjoy.  Representing the family in the picture are Dale and Renee Cooper, along with great-nieces Lexie and Kylie, and great-nephew, Tatum.   On behalf of the entire staff as well as the students, we give our thanks and appreciation.
